Alan Carr Ditches Comedy for Survival in The Celebrity Traitors

Alan Carr, 49, will compete in The Celebrity Traitors and plans to adopt a “no humor” strategy to increase his chances of success on the psychological reality game show.

The series premieres October 8 with 19 celebrity contestants, including Celia Imrie, Tom Daley, and Sir Stephen Fry, all vying to outwit one another in the Highlands.

Carr explained he must adapt by engaging with people he wouldn’t usually speak to, aiming to uncover hidden truths while avoiding relying on comedy.

He believes his call-center background, where he managed unpredictable situations daily, could give him an edge in handling tense game scenarios.

Contestants will compete for up to £100,000, which they can donate to a charity of their choice if they succeed in the intense deception-based challenges.

Jonathan Ross, also competing, shared his distrust of celebrities, joking he would likely assume everyone else in the game is a traitor from the outset.
