Dolly had already missed an appearance at Dollywood earlier in the year, as her doctors urged her to take it easy and reduce her schedule until her health stabilizes.

Fans expressed heartfelt support online, with many wishing her a smooth recovery and praising her for her dedication to still managing projects despite health setbacks.

Her publicist clarified that Dolly’s absence from the Governors Awards was not due to health concerns but was communicated back in June as a scheduling conflict with the Academy.

In her own statement, Dolly emphasized she postponed Las Vegas shows because she couldn’t rehearse to her full potential, promising fans she’d return when able to deliver the show they deserve.
